Studio Production: My preferred idea

My Preferred idea to show to Helen  After sifting through the brainstormed ideas, I felt really stuck on what theme to go on but I was really caught up on all the different ideas that I found whilst brainstorming with the class. I thought I would just scrap all the other ideas I had because i wasn't able to come up with different rounds that were original/interesting enough "Fashion Buzz/ Fashion Dash" will be the name  Fashion themed where people make outfits with random materials. Could include a fashion quiz, rail dash on either location , use of VT to show what was previously done, The design could have neon lights, glitzy and glittery backgrounds.  "my boyfriend does my make up" is a make up trend that is popular on youtube, could bring this to life with a real life make up station where candidates take part.  A talk show corner and a challenge corner. balance it out to change pace.  surprise goody bag for audience member. pin the tail ...

Directions: Drama: Production Day, Feedback and Evaluation

Production days before rough cut hand in This day was a very interesting day for me as I learnt so much about myself, others and how to deal with certain situations.  Actors First of all I felt really unprepared and nervous about the SFX and my actors. Just knowing that everyone was relying on me was so scary. I was delayed with the make up and it was a very windy, cold day. My actor was getting stroppy when I kept asking to do more takes from different angles and it was quite stressful. Because I knew the actor was cold, I tried my best to accommodate him and I also ended up restricting the amount of shots I re did because I didn't want everyone to be out in the cold too long. That was my biggest mistake. I should not have put the actor's feelings in front of the task at hand as much as I did because I ended up limiting my coverage which is never a good thing.
