Studio Production: My preferred idea

My Preferred idea to show to Helen  After sifting through the brainstormed ideas, I felt really stuck on what theme to go on but I was really caught up on all the different ideas that I found whilst brainstorming with the class. I thought I would just scrap all the other ideas I had because i wasn't able to come up with different rounds that were original/interesting enough "Fashion Buzz/ Fashion Dash" will be the name  Fashion themed where people make outfits with random materials. Could include a fashion quiz, rail dash on either location , use of VT to show what was previously done, The design could have neon lights, glitzy and glittery backgrounds.  "my boyfriend does my make up" is a make up trend that is popular on youtube, could bring this to life with a real life make up station where candidates take part.  A talk show corner and a challenge corner. balance it out to change pace.  surprise goody bag for audience member. pin the tail ...

Writer research & ideas: 'Skins' // Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain

Bryan Elsley, Jamie  Brittain & Skins Skins is a British teen drama series which was broadcasted on E4 between 2007 - 2013. The series was written and created by Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain whom are both father and son. (pictured below)  Before taking his career towards the theater  industry, Bryan Elsley then went onto making short comedy sketches (Dusty and Dick) with Harry Enfield whom he met at university. Bryan continued to progress through his career after making a quite a few mini TV series but it wasn't until his adaptation of Lain Banks's 'crow road'  that Elsley received the recognition that he needed within the television industry.  Elsley has also written 'Dates'. A British mini series exploring all the possibilities that can occur whilst meeting someone for the first time. Dates have received quite high ratings overall and especially on IMDB. 'Wednesday' Written and directed by; Rob Sorrenti Produced by Oscar-nominated film director Stephen Daldry and supported by Working Title Films Screened at 50 Film Festivals around the world Won several awards and has signed by Shorts International - the world’s largest short film distributor   The success of 'Wednesday' earned Sorrenti a nomination for Channel 4's Young Talent Award for best director. This short film is about a young man and woman who were born on the same day, at the same time, at the same hospital, and end up crossing paths again unknowingly at the same place. For me, without even watching the film I was instantly drawn to idea of it.
